I have now setup the GA4 ID on my google analytics account

I have had the plugin working on the universal ID for a while now

Does the plugin support the new analytics , and do i just update the ID field
So replace the UA-ID to the new G-ID

    Hey Etaf,

Thanks for your message. I hope you had a good weekend.

Yes, you can just enter your G4 ID into the same field in Analytics Cat.

If you experience any issues, don’t hesitate to get back to us.

    All the best.

Thanks for the reply, seems to be continue to work with the UA code – and updating the GA4 Dashboard
Not sure if that will continue after the change in 2023

anyway – thanks for the fast reply , at least if it stops working next year, i know i can just add the GA4 code

    Hi Etaf,

    Thanks for your reply.

The surrounding code that adds G4 to your site is still the same as the previous Google Analytics code, it is just the format of the tracking code itself has changed. Now it’s “G-…..” and before it was “UA-……”.

If Google changes anything, we will update accordingly.

Feel free to get back to me if there is anything else.

    Kind regards.

    thanks for the info
Although for my account the code itself has also changed – not just the G- and UA-
