• Hello,
I did something to the template settings which broke gallery image spacing.
When I upload multiple images into a gallery, it no longer displays them with spacing around them in a neat row. I have to edit the Block settings and change Block Spacing to “Tiny.”
    Here’s an example: https://app.screencast.com/Y3eZulgbMhKLp

Does anyone know where I can fix this so it defaults to “Tiny” again? Thanks.

  • Hi
To change the default settings and styling of a block site wide, you need to open the Site Editor and open the Styles sidebar (the “global styles” settings). Its the panel that you open with the icon that has the half white half black circle.

At the bottom of that panel, select “Blocks”. Then search for the block you want to update.
    Change the settings, and save.

These values are your new defaults. So if there is a copy of the block in the content or a template that has already been changed, that block will not be changed. You would need to select that individual block and update it again if you want to reset it to the new defaults.

This works the same way for all block themes, not only Twenty Twenty-Five.
