Gallery doesn´t work within `[showhide]`

I´m using the normal gallery feature that comes with wordpress to show pictures in my Posts.
However, this does not work if I place the gallery between the [showhide] tags. Instead the code for the gallery is being shown (e.g. [gallery ids="103,104,105"]).
Is there any way to fix that?

Edit: I just tried how it looks if I only place a picture in the hidden part and it shows the picture but the caption part seems somewhat broken… (link to post for reference)
