Although the plug-in is installed and works correctly on the back end, the gallery itself does not load: we just get the spinning icon forever. The error repeats across multiple browsers. I’ve created a test page for the plug-in on our site here.

In the browser’s error console, I’m seeing this error:

TypeError: jQuery('.gallery1023').flickr is not a function.

I have rechecked the API key and the album ID. They both seem to be correct. The error happens even with all other plug-ins disabled.

    Any advice?

  • Hello grandfathertrout,
please re-create your album id, and api key…the generated api key and album id are not correct.
    Thanks.

I’ve generated a new API key and put it in. For testing purposes, we’re using this album, for which the album ID (as far as I can tell) is 72157662219653844. The front-end still just spins endlessly.

The flickr “all your API keys” interface definitely shows calls to the previous key yesterday by the plug-in.

    Hello grandfathertrout,
for reference you can use the following link to generate API key and Album Id.
    https://weblizar.com/?s=flickr

    Thanks

Hello! That’s definitely the link I used to generate the key. Both keys, in fact: I have created two now and the error happens no matter which one I use. There was also an old API key used by a previous plugin — the one we hope to replace with Flickr Album Gallery — and the plugin also fails to load if we use that one.

    Hello grandfathertrout,
when you install the plugin, there is an default API key and album id of weblizar….are they working??
    Thanks

The ones that autofill when creating a new gallery? No, they give the same error. (Here’s a demonstration.)

    Hello grandfathertrout,
The theme you are using is using deprecated functions and due to that the js of the plugin is not working. You can see screenshot, and can also check by changing the theme…plugin is working.
    Thanks
