gallery horizontal scroll with background wall

    Hi,
    I want to create a website for a gallery of my wife’s paintings.
    My idea is to create a gallery wall background and place her paintings on the wall, to scroll horizontally and when you hover over a painting scrolling stops, and when clicked the image is enlarged – like a lightbox.
    What would be the best way to do this – can you point me to any examples?

    Try a few of the carousel plugins to see if any will work the way you want, or at least close enough. If you have adequate knowledge to modify the applicable CSS, you can possibly get the appearance to be as you wish, provided the basic functionality meets your needs.
