• I moved my wordpress from demo server to live using duplicator. All went well. Then I moved wordpress content from one of my live site to this new wordpress install using export and import tools option. I uploaded the uploads folder separately using FTP.

Now I don’t see the gallery images in the posts. When I clicked add media button and selected “Uploaded to this post”, no image was visible. So, essentially the post did not detect any images uploaded/attached to it.
When I checked the Media library, I could see the images associated with that post. So , the images are there and Media library shows them attached to the post but gallery does not detect them to be attached to that post.

    What can I do ?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.
