@triciab – If all was working fine before changing your theme I would suspect something in your new theme is causing a problem now … I’m not familiar with the theme nor do I see anything obvious from the page source but I would suggest starting with your theme as you troubleshoot this further.
Thanks!

Hi Photocrati – or is it Cais? I’ve tried changing it back to the original theme and the galleries still don’t work.
I’ve wondered about deleting the NextGEN plugin and re-installing but would I lose all my galleries in the process?
@triciab – Re-installing NextGEN Gallery by using the Plugins > Installed Plugins interface will not cause any loss of your images/galleries/albums/etc.
That might be something to try but noting that switching back to the old theme still has the issue persists could be pointing to a plugin conflict happening now.
Have you tried deactivating all of your plugins, clearing your browser cache (and site caches if you are using a caching plugin), then reactivating the NextGEN plugin?
If this fixes the problem then it was likely one of the deactivated plugins that was causing an issue. Now, retrace your steps activating each plugin and re-checking to see if the problem returns. If it does then that last activated plugin was probably the one. Keep reactivating and in most cases it is also best to keep checking after each plugin, sometimes there may be more than one plugin on a site that will create an issue. If you do find one (or more) plugins causing this problem we would greatly appreciate your feedback on them so the developers may address them as soon as they can.
If the problem still persists after all of this we would still want to know, even more so, as we will still want to sort out the issue and may need additional details.
Thanks!

PS: I provide support for NextGEN Gallery via the @photocrati account but my personal account is @cais.
I tried deactivating all plugins, clearing my browser cache and reactivating NextGEN – no change. The galleries still didn’t work. I have now reactivated the other plugins.
Do you think I should try deleting NextGEN completely then reinstalling it?
I appreciate your help by the way – thank you! I’ve been using NextGEN on various websites for years and never had a problem.
Hi
After today’s update all of my galleries on tow websites have stopped working. On One there’s just an empty space where the galleries were. On the Other I see this:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method M_Galleria::enqueue_entities() in /var/sites/j/jamesaphoto.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery-plus/modules/nextgen_pro_lightbox/adapter.nextgen_pro_lightbox_effect_code.php on line 43
Any help would be much appreciated. I rely on these galleries.
Thanks
Plug in updated. Gallery Settings is a blank screen. Turned off all other plugins. Still a blank screen. Emptied caches. Still a blank screen.
Hi
I’ve gone back to 1.3.5 on both sites and galleries are up and running again, although the update would be good if it works.
Good evening,
After the last update of your plugin, my pro gallery not working.
I disabled all plugins nextgen puts only pro was not working.
So I deleted the plugin and installed an older version.
Everything is operational.
Your update is defective.
