Can you explain a bit more about what you’re trying to do? You could always type out the text you want to appear into a photo document and upload that image to be the first item in your gallery?
Beyond that, I’ll need more details about what you’re trying to accomplish. A link to your site is always helpful as well.

It’s brand new and I’m still experimenting with my options. I believe I have come to the conclusion that I’m going to go with this theme…
Basically I want the post text below the gallery to show on top and have the viewers read it first, yes that means the gallery will be partly below the fold line but I’m OK with that. I may also want more than one gallery, not sure about that yet.
I could also do what I did on my old site, create two separate galleries on two separate pages and link to them.

I think the solution is a gallery plugin like nextgen or foogallery, as I also need to display text with each image and I can’t find a way to do that with the theme built in galleries.
