Recently I’ve switched hosting providers, and my new host didn’t come prepared with a lot of the required php extnsions/moules for running wordpress smoothly. I’ve had my membership plugin authors tell me a few that were required for their plugin to run, as well as one that I found out was needed for wordpress to create proper thumbnails.

I got some of those installed, I believe they were DOM, XMLWriter, mbstring, pdo, pdo_mysql, XMLWriter library for PHP.

There may have been one more that I’m forgetting.

Does anyone have any idea why my gallery isn’t looking proper? It’s just the standard wordpress [gallery] shortcode, with the ID’s to the media files. I’ve included a screenshot so you can see what it looks like live, I’ve zoomed out a lot on the page just so I can show the big blank spots between the thumbnails. In addition to this, the thumbnails are sometimes blurry.

The spacing is being controlled by your theme. What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

Check that the latest version of GD Library is installed on your server.

Hey, thanks for the response. I’m using Headway Themes drag and drop theme. I’ll try looking around more to see if I can find that! Also checking to see if I have the latest version of GD library, but I think that might have been the one extension I forgot to list.

I’m sorry but as you appear to be using a commercial theme, you need to seek theme support from the theme’s developer/vendor. We do not have access to, nor do we support, commercial products here.
