This isn’t an issue that we could replicate. Could you please let us know if you are being able to edit the Gallery Settings if using a different browser?
Also, it probably wouldn’t harm performing a conflict check with the other plugins by temporarily deactivating them leaving active NextGen Gallery plugin only just to see if the issue would persist.

Funny. I downgraded NextGEN to 3.24 yesterday and today I re-updated it to 3.26 to try to replicate the error, and now it seems to be working properly. I didn’t enable/disable any other plugins. I tested on both Firefox and Brave.
I don’t know if it have something to do with the issue, but when it wasn’t working, I reloaded the page flushing the browser cache (CTRL+F5) but it didn’t help.

Great to hear of that. We’ll keep an eye to see if we’ll get any other reports but in the meantime I think we can blame it on the caching or on a faulty update.
