Gallery won't work

Hey all,

I’m trying to use the [gallery] shortcode, but with no luck.
All I want is the images I specify to show up tiled nicely on my gallery page, and preferably, for the images to open up in a lightbox when clicked so you could browse though the images in the gallery.

My shortcode is like this:
[gallery ids="176,65,64,63,59,58,57,55,54,53,50,49,52,51,48"]
but nothing shows up in the site, looking at the source code, there isn’t anything at all where the shortcode is.

I’m using minimatica theme, completely up to date wp.

I’m not sure if I require any plugins that I’m not aware of, or if theres a plugin that’s interfering, I have nearly none active.
