Gamipress points deduction allows the execution of the action even though the user’s wallet is empty.

This is a big flaw. Let’s say you have services on a page that you decided to charge for by deducting points, but you cannot prevent the user from paying with an empty wallet. Points deduction would need to have a mechanism that checks whether the user’s wallet is empty and whether they have enough of a certain type of points to pay before the action related to point deduction is executed. If this does not exist, then the whole gamification system makes no sense.

Yes, I also noticed this issue. I checked if there’s any workaround, but unfortunately, there isn’t. The competition has handled it well, but unfortunately, their system doesn’t really suit me. At the moment, I’m dealing with support for Asgaros Forum, and after that, I wanted to ask about this problem as well. Because eventually, I would have run into this issue before launching the website anyway. Hopefully, the developers will fine-tune it – I trust them 🙂

    Hi @bsawesome and @wptechofficial ,

I would be more than happy to assist you today.

GamiPress is a gamification plugin, focused on award and deducting points from users. GamiPress does not block any functionality to users.

Point deducts events are always triggered, but currency cannot be less than 0 and does not block any functionality itself.

We have a functionality to “unlock using points” but the users need to have the specified amount of points in order to use this functionality.

Also, with our add-ons “Points Gateway” and “Partial Payments” The users won’t be able to proceed with payments if tehy do not have the required amount of points.

Using GamiPress official functionality and add-ons, it is not possible to spend points without having them.

    Hope it helps!

I managed to solve this problem by using the Gamipress add-on Restrict Content – Show content if. Tino, I respect you. You are the team leader, but you should know that there is this simpler solution without installing the heavy WooCommerce add-on and WooCommerce Points Gateway.

    Hi @bsawesome ,

    Thank you for your feedback.

I’m sorry but I didn’t understand correctly the first message.

Yes, using the Restrict Content add-on, your users can spend points un exchange to unlock different parts of your website.
