• Running Astra (4.13.4, no child theme) with Elementor (4.1.3). Getting a stubborn white gap between the header/logo and my hero section, built in Elementor.

Started out mobile-only, but I’ve since seen it on desktop too.

Things I’ve already ruled out, so hopefully saves some back-and-forth:

    • Header/logo margins, Off-Canvas Menu spacing, Primary Header Height — all checked in Customizer, no effect
    • Transparent Header — off
    • No child theme involved
    • Additional CSS — empty
    • Elementor’s Container Padding (mobile) → set to 0, gap shrank a bit (only thing that’s moved it at all)
    • Gaps setting (mobile) → 0, no further change
    • Hero section’s own padding/margin → 0
    • Deactivated every plugin one at a time — gap is still there even with literally just Astra + Elementor running, nothing else active
    • DevTools shows nothing unusual in computed heights anywhere in the box model

Weirdest part: Elementor’s own mobile preview in the editor shows zero gap. It only shows up on the actual live site and in the Customizer’s preview pane.

Anyone seen this combo before? Wondering if there’s a wrapper Astra adds around the Elementor content area that’s not reflected in Elementor’s own preview. No code/SSH access on my end so I’m limited to the dashboard for troubleshooting.
