Gap on scroll between header and slider

Hi,

I am noticing on desktop view of the front page of my web site (with the window fullscreen) there will be a gap of white space between the header and the slider as I scroll down.

The visual impression is that the slider and header are scrolling or at least responding at different rates; I’m not sure if that’s the issue or not. I am about 99% sure, based on fiddling with the inspect element tool, that the whitepsace I’m seeing is the body’s background color showing through. I couldn’t figure out a simple way to fix the problem, though.

Anyway, if there’s any way to prevent that from happening, I’d love to hear it. It definitely detracts from the ideal visual I’d like on the front page.
