No, I want no gaps at all. You can see a gap under the top row, for example.

Hi just paste below code in your Custom CSS option:

.vc_view {
margin-bottom: 0 !important;
}

Thanks. That seems to work, but how about if I wanted a 1px gap around all sides?

Yes. If the screen resizes I have no gap. Like an iPAd.
