The feature to add custom CSS isn’t available in the Elementor free version, I’m afraid. You may need to add it in your Theme’s Customizer or use a third-party plugin to add the custom CSS.

Just for your the info, I can see the padding being applied on the right and left sides of your page. This padding is being applied by the theme of your site.
I hope this info helps with your query.
I do have Elementor Pro. A friend of mine found a workaround, but if there were some custom CSS I could input into Elementor to eradicate the gaps I’m sure it would be better than how my friend has done it, as he said it was a bit “hacky”, the way he accomplished it.
