Gateway Timeout error

Hi:
I just had a few days of getting the “Gateway Timeout” error when trying to access my website or the WP back end. My host discovered it was because of the “Security by CleanTalk” plugin. Once this plugin was disabled, everything went back to normal and I could access both front and back ends of the website.

I’ve got the latest WP 4.9.2 version and all other plugins are up to date.

Could you please let me know why this is happening? Unfortunately I can’t test other plugins incompatibilities with Security because if I activate the Security plugin, I lose access to the website.

Please, let us know the PHP version you are using.

To get PHP logs you could install this plugin: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/error-log-monitor/
It will add the widget to your WordPress dashboard with PHP logs.

My PHP version is 5.6.33

I’ve got my php errors log but when I go to the link you sent me to your ticketing system at:
https://cleantalk.org/my/support/open
and I click on Open a Support Ticket I end up back here. How can I send you my errors log?

Hello,

Seems like this error is related to overload of server memory. Could you please go to your php.ini file and tell us what is you memory limit? Just check for this keyword “memory_limit”
