Sadly it is – some symbols are loaded dynamically from Font Awesome.
It would be great if the plugin could be changed to load them from local source. That’s a grey area but it really would be nice to have GDPR compliant version.
You cannot notice this easily – because I think in general if you have the symbols downloaded once and cached as a user – then it is not downloaded anymore for some time.
Just enable a very strict (only self / inline) Content Security Policy and you will notice e.g. on spoilers or some other the symbols are square only and not actual symbol
