Absolutely, will be implementing an option to disable collection of IP address infos. Should be available within the next week or so. Thank you for the feedback.

Just to follow up with this, “Disable IP” option added to the latest version of Simple Feed Stats (v20180508). Thanks again for the feedback πŸ™‚

You are welcome, sprungmarker. Will you leave a 5-star rating? It would be appreciated πŸ™‚

    I will πŸ™‚

Maybe there should also be an option if referrer are enabled or not. I fear also referrers are not allowed anymore for GDPR …

Thank you sprungmarker, I appreciate it πŸ™‚

About the referrer, I haven’t seen anything saying it is no longer allowed.. do you happen to have a source that I can check it out?

    (@sprungmarker)

I am not really entirely convinced about the referrer, because I think there should be an IP address combined with. Hm – maybe we should get along with it until we get more real infos. πŸ™‚
This was only to be on the saftest side of GDPR.

Yeah if you find anything, let us know. And like you say, without the IP address, the referrer is useless. Besides the referrer literally is just a URL; surely nobody would try to outlaw URLs, it would be absurd to say the least.

Yes – I will let you know. We have to wait for the next WordPress GDPR update and will see. Thx πŸ™‚
