• Dear Sir or Madam,

I am an entrepreneur from Germany and use your service/product. Due to the EU general data protection regulation which comes into force in May I am writing to you today to get the following information.

Are you issuing an data/order processing contract?
What information of our customers do you store for what reason?
Will the data be transferred to a third country? If so, which ones?
What type or designation do you use for the level of data protection?
When do you delete this data?
Who is responsible for your data protection?
    Thank you for your help.

    With kind regards
    Swantje Gebauer

Blubrry is working to make sure all of its products, including the PowerPress plugin, will be GDPR compliant in time for the GDPR deadline.

    Hello @swanhild,

Just to clarify what Shawn said. PowerPress itself does not have anything to do with GDPR, it does not do anything to collect or store personal identifiable information. If you are only concerned about the plugin, you are good to go.

As for our services, as Shawn noted, we will soon post a new privacy policy that specifically covers GDPR. As a company philosophy we never collect or report on personal identifiable information and that is stated in our current privacy policy, but we are aware our policy needs to be written for GDPR compliance. That update to our privacy policy is coming very soon.

    Thanks,
    Angelo
