    What a topic, right? xD

    I’ve seen that Mailchimp lauched a “GDPR” checkboxes form below the normal Mailchimp form. I mean this: https://kb.mailchimp.com/binaries/content/gallery/mailchimpkb/common/lists/signup-forms/gdpr/gdpr_mktgperm.png

    I’m not sure if it’s actually needed. I guess you’re not lawyers either. I think we only need one checkbox saying “I accept the privacy policy” or similar.

    I’m just curious to know what do you think about all this topic and your plugin. Maybe you are writing about it in a blog of yours?

    In the last version of YITH WooCommerce Mailchimp, we added the GDPR compliance. So you can add a checkbox with the privacy policy before to add to the customer to the list.

    If it help somehow, we implemented GDPR compliance in a original way: instead of adding that checkbox, we included the first layer of privacy information on the Mailchimp confirmation email.

    Anyway, people will be scared to use this alternative method because nobody is using it (I feel safe because my partner is a lawyer, so I know we are accomplishing the law).
