    I updated WordPress 4.9.6 last week and it had the privacy policy feature and export and erase personal info feature. Will installing this plugin complement those features or enhance them or is it doubling up on the same features?

    We are not tapping into the WP core functionality. We are currently doing our own export until we wait for this feature to mature a little bit. Then we will drop ours.

    Or look for ways to make the core functionality better.

    I see. Because what I see in the overview is pretty similar. So this is just to comply with the deadline? I am so confused. The only thing I collect in y site is email and name for email marketing purposes. Nothing else.

    This was to comply with the deadline and then WP Core started working on their own tools. But what the plugin offer goes beyond what was added into WP Core. So they go well together.
