GDPR with AC Plugin

Now that the GDPR is changing how AC creates their tracking script with the trackByDefault var how will this effect this plugin? Currently we have to manually change the trackByDefault var to false and then add the a notice and a button that triggers the acEnableTracking function. Since the AC Plugin auto adds the tracking script to the site how will we be able to set the trackByDefault var to false? Will this plugin be getting an update with the new AC tracking script and a setting to change the var? This has to be done by May 25 2018 for our site’s to comply with GDPR.
