Hello all, I have read the faq, and the page on the nextgen’s different display template locations and I have no clue what I am doing. I have been trying to find the tags for 3 hours now and I am about to give up..

so here is where I am at:
I have installed next gen gallery 2.0.40
    Nextgen gallery voting free 2.7.1

now per faqs i need to tag /nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/nextgen_basic_gallery/templates/thumbnails/index.php

where is this located? I have been to the plug in editor and my theme editor and do not see it..

then where is this inserted? for image voting, the form needs to be placed inside the foreach() loop in those templates, as that loop is outputting each image. I find the best place to put the tag is AFTER the <div class=”ngg-gallery-thumbnail”> is CLOSED..

thanks in advance and sorry for being beyond a newb..

    Plugin Files

    nextgen-gallery/nggallery.php
    nextgen-gallery/pope/README.txt
    nextgen-gallery/non_pope/class.nextgen_settings.php
    nextgen-gallery/non_pope/class.photocrati_installer.php
    nextgen-gallery/non_pope/class.photocrati_settings_manager.php
    nextgen-gallery/non_pope/class.photocrati_cache.php
    nextgen-gallery/index.html
    nextgen-gallery/changelog.txt
    nextgen-gallery/license.txt
    nextgen-gallery/wordpress_helpers.php
    nextgen-gallery/readme.txt

this is what I have and found a few posts describing this.. I do not understand:

If you select NONE of the template options, NGG will use the /wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/nextgen_basic_imagebrowser/templates/nextgen_basic_imagebrowser.php template (please note, this template requires you have a permalink structure other than “Default” set in WordPress “Settings / Permalinks”)

The WordPress plugin editor doesn’t go more than 2 levels deep, so you need to find and edit the file through FTP.
