Deactivate your all plugins and then try to generate the password if after deactivating all plugins the password generates button works and then activate all plugins one by one and check which plugin is making the issue.
I tested Rank Math with WordPress 5.5 and didn’t found any error!!
Zendesk Support for WordPress is causing the issue. Can you try on your local machine?

Hi, quick update on the previous post, can’t seem to delete it. I was able to edit the password after I switch to TwentyTwenty default template which means its a template issue. Will be contacting the template developer instead. Thanks.
