    Hey @mlperreau,

    yes, you are right I had to remove it since WordPress 5.0.

    Since WordPress replace the standard editor with the new gutenberg one, it also removes the support for custom buttons step by step.

    To be compatible and future proof this was a feature I had to remove and will find a new place directly in gutenberg in later versions.
