• Greetings.

I’ve got a video blog that I’m trying to configure for WordPress. I’m not using the WYSIWYG editor, so with the editor I do use, I’ve got a few buttons that when pushed will display different tags within my post.

Is it possible, instead of generating a tag, I could set up a button to generate some code (which I use to call a javascript popup passing a dynamic php page to display my videos), to include html and a call to a javascript function?

I’ve read the tutorial on customizing those buttons to generate tags, but I don’t think it works to generate many lines of code… which may include a “‘” which screws up the customizing button. (I hope I’m not confusing you.)

Maybe a widget might work but I’m having trouble finding one that would be appropriate.

What would be the best way to do what I’m trying to do?
