Hi there,

is there any step by step documentation how to set up the Open Ai Account to make the Plugin “AI Alt Text Generator” work? I entered the Open AI API in the Plugin settings on my website but when trying to generate the Alt Texts for images it does not work.

@netfellows for the plugin you just need the api key. You can check here https://help.openai.com/en/articles/4936850-where-do-i-find-my-openai-api-key
Here is where you api keys will be: https://platform.openai.com/api-keys

I have a similar problem.

The problem the plugin reports when press /Generate Alt Text/ “Error generating alt text.”

Hi @coloringfunpages the api is used only in the backend and will be as safe as your backend can be
