Hello, I use the CF plugin with Google’s Recaptcha V3 integrated. Suddenly, when I try to send something, I get the following error: “There was an error sending the message. Please check the data you entered and try again. Thank you.”

The Recaptcha works, the CF module without the active integration works, and sending emails from the site works. I disabled the Wordfence and cache modules, but it doesn’t make any difference. What could it be? What else should I check?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    CF v 6.1.5

Where can we see the website in question?

What other plugins and theme do you use on the site?

I have Betheme, and these plugins: Aruba Hispeed Cache, Captcha 4WP, Cookiebot, GTranslate, IndexNow, Slider Revolution, Social Chat, W3 Total Cache, Wordfence, WP 2FA, WP Mail SMTP (Installed to see if emails were being sent), Yoast.

I’ve now paused the 4WP captcha plugin, installed Advanced Google reCAPTCHA, and redone the integration. The recaptcha key is passed correctly into the plugin, but the contact form still doesn’t send the email.

Try switching to the default theme, deactivating all plugins excluding Contact Form 7, and clearing all cache data.

Why you are advised to deactivate plugins and switch to the default theme.

Yes, I had already done this by disabling the main plugins, but now I’ve redone the process by disabling all the plugins.

Now the contact form sends the email with the Recaptcha integration enabled.

It’s a cache issue, then. I’ve now disabled both the W3 Total Cache and Aruba Cache plugins. All the others are enabled because they don’t affect the functionality.

    Sorry to waste your time.

    Best regards
