Geo plugin for 1.5?

    Heya, I remember a while back a discussion talking about moving the geo features of WordPress to a plugin…I think mookitty was supposed to be working on it. I just did a search and can’t find any recent mentions of it, and it doesn’t look like anything has made it into CVS. Is this still going to happen, or have the geo features been abandoned for lack of interest?

    I haven’t heard any change in direction for moving it to a plugin. Having it this way does allow it to be worked on independent of the regular development, and probably the reason we’ve not seen it drop into cvs yet.

    Well, I answered my own question. There are two 1.5 compatible plugins on wp-plugins.org that restore the lost functionality. Thanks authors!
