Does it have geo-functionality? Sorry but I can’t find that it has.
I could really o with something similar – I’m using nextgen gallery with photos geotagged in the exif tags, which works great with XML google maps using the google maps API – see my current project at photos.im
It would be great to know if there’s a way to compile these points and info to make on the fly kml files for a GEO sitemap. I’m using the xml sitemaps generator that tdbellent mentioned for a general sitemap, but I’m stuck when it comes to a geo-sitemap – XML google sitemap doesn’t do this.
Short of doing the kml files by hand, I’m not sure how to get around this… I guess if you use custom fields for each post, e.g. longitude + latitude, you could write a plugin pretty easily, except I’m not so great at scripting(!), any help? would be great if I could integreate it into what I already have…
I found one Geo plugin for wordpress http://www.ditii.com/2007/06/22/wordpress-geo-mashup-plugin which I try on my WordPress blog http://liveincroatia.ru
I hope this plugin will have geo sitemap functionality in future.
Thanks.
I look forward to try the geo-mashup-plugin as a start 🙂
