Next week we plan to release a minor update to include:
1. Admin select-able data format (since the current format is pegged to US standard).
2. Ability to have a special offer that is always visible and has no start or end dates (for perpetual offers).
3. Optionally upload a voucher image and then have it linked to the individual special offer.
We are evaluating your ideal for a CPT display for Special Offers. If it is feasible, we will add it in mid-December.

This is what I came up to display Special Offers in a CPT. I created an Event CPT and added Special Offers as a category for them (Special Offers) to display as an Event. Hope this helps you.

We just released version 1.7.1 which includes the ability to localize the plugin. It also has a very poor Spanish translation which maybe you can review and correct. The po files are in the Languages directory.

One more question, translation is working in the backend, but not in the front-end.
Any idea what could being causing this? Name of .PO and .MO files are OK? What about the location?. I have put a copy of them inside /wp-content/languages/plugins and another in /wp-content/plugins/geodeals-for-geodirectory/Languages

Thanks for the feedback! We missed one thing when localizing the JS. We have fixed this today but need to do a round of testing tomorrow before we release the update.
We plan to complete the testing then release the update tomorrow afternoon. I apologize for the delay but we will get this update released tomorrow.
