    When i click the events i created in the calendar, they do not populate. But the links for the events themselves do work.

    Clicking a calendar date takes you to the search page and shows you the events list there (as there can be multiple) From your other suppor topic you have removed the default content for the search page which has broken the functionality, you need to fix that fist.
