    Hi @pzsniper,

    Thanks for reaching out!

First, please note that Google requires you to enable billing on your account to use the Places feature. For details on pricing, check out Google’s pricing page. Please make sure billing is enabled in your Google Cloud account, as highlighted in this section of our guide.

If billing is already enabled, go to WPForms > Settings > Geolocation and check if the issue occurs in the preview on that page. If it does, create a new API key by following our Geolocation addon guide and try again.

If the issue continues, please note that the Geolocation addon is a paid feature available with a Pro license level or higher. In this case, could you please submit a support ticket through the WPForms account dashboard when you have a chance? From there, our support team will be able to take a closer look at your request.

I apologize that we’re not able to respond to paid version questions here in the ww.wp.xz.cn support forums for the free version (forum guidelines), but really appreciate your help!

    Thanks!

    Hi @pzsniper,

    Thanks for the information.

However, I cannot reproduce the issue. Here is a screencast demonstrating how I created the Google API key and used it on my test site without any issues.

    I recommend reviewing the following:

    1. Ensure that Places API, Maps JavaScript API, and Geocoding API are enabled in your Google Cloud project. Please note that this is not a global setting; you must enable each API within each specific Google Cloud project.
    2. Consider creating a new API key and restricting it to your website using *.your-domain.com/* instead of https://*.your-domain.com, as shown in your screenshot at https://prnt.sc/EBg40rvtlXq8.

I hope these suggestions help resolve the issue.

If the issue persists, please be aware that the Geolocation addon is a paid feature available with a Pro license level or higher. In this case, please submit a support ticket through your WPForms account dashboard when you have a moment. Our support team will then be able to investigate the issue more thoroughly.

I apologize that we cannot address questions about paid features here in the ww.wp.xz.cn support forums for the free version (forum guidelines), but I truly appreciate your cooperation.

    Thanks!
