I’m geotagging the post’s of my travel blog. That works ok.

When I create a new post, I geotag the post with the OSM plugin. I cannot enter coordinates, but I have to move the marker on the small map and press ‘generate’.

When I edit an existing post, I cannot see anywhere the geotag of the post in the page editor. I’m using the WordPress Enfold theme. Is that due to the Enfold theme?

Where does OSM store the geotag lat/long? I cannot see the coordinates anywhere in the back-end.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @henkna

you can not see nor edit a geotag in the backend. It is stored in the database.

If you want to change a saved geotag of a post you have to set it in the map again – to old geotag is deleted automatically.

BTW: You can also create a map showing all the geotagged posts.

Yes, the map with all geotagged posts works great.

Where do you store the lat/lon of a post? I might use myphpadmin to update the location. I already have the lat/lon in an Excel list. So typing is much easier.

    Hello @henkna

if you want to work on database level I suggest simply to display the customfields at your post / page in the backend instead of myphpadmin.
Just open a geotagged post in the backend, enable window for the customfields and you will find lat/lon for modifications.
