Not sure what you mean ….
I have the same tags in my <head> as yourself, and am able to log in to, and see myself, on the geoblog.

I can’t use this yet due to a backlog of registration though

I would imagine that geourl.org simply gave the information, and it is up to people to create useful and interesting *things* with it.
(If anyone hasn’t visited the geoblog, open the window and just leave it for ages .. then go on a very random blog-hopping experience. It’s really good !)

Yes Podz – i just placed that meta tagline in my index.php and it looks excellent. I saw it on your site and decided to take it for a test drive – thanks 🙂
The thing I am referring to though is that geourl function which makes it possible to click on a link which displays the websites within a certain radius of your own location. I am sure I saw it when I first started using WP but geourl.org seems to have been down for some time now.
I hope this is making some sense – I am in ‘braindead’ mode right now – an all too often occurrence I find of late 🙂
For a bit of time now, this has been posted on geourl.org:
“We are down for renovations. Check back soon!”
Whether that is true or they are down for the count, we shall see what we shall see in due time 😉

“We are down for renovations. Check back soon!”
Could be the new ‘Under construction’ replacement – a foreboding sign if ever I saw one…
On a serious note: Are there other options that work like geourl or was/is this unique?
Well, according to those “in the know” the site is not down for good and they are working on it 🙂

Thanks Beel 🙂
In that case I will sit back and wait patiently 🙂
