Allright, I know this is the free version of the plugin, however, I would have expected a bit of a quicker turnaround time.
Is this plugin actually still maintained or abandoned?

Sorry for the slow response, we usually try to keep up with our forums much better. This plugin is very much actively maintained. In fact we just released a large update.
Currently there is no German file available though. Our product can be translated if you’d like. Besides the traditional method, we have also created a built in method to help customers with their own translations.
