Get 403 error when trying to save post?

    All of a sudden I get a 403 error when I try to save my post. And hour ago this didn’t happen…

    I can save my post with the original paragraph or so, but once I put in the rest of the entry, it doesn’t work…

    403 is “forbidden”.

    If I had to bet, I’d bet that your web server is running mod_security and is not happy with some part of your content.

    Either contact your host and ask about the mod_security rules in place or experiment a bit with wording of your post and see if you can figure what looks “hack’ish” and rewrite it.

    before it was 2006-07’s Varsity Dance Team

    now it’s next year’s varsity dance team

    it works now. any ideas why?

    Nope. Not a clue (and not a WP issue). All I can do is suggest you ask your host if “2006-07’s” would get hit by their mod_security rules.
