    Hi,

is there any way to get Yoast to load the data from another post? I created a template-post that displays a single other post (through a rewrite_rule and rewrite_tag), but Yoast obviously shows the data form the template-post.

I was looking at the wpseo_frontend_presentation filter, but cannot find a way to load a context or presentation from another post.

    Best,

    Aart Jan

(I know I can use separate filters for the title, the url, etc., but it seems more practical to get Yoast to load another context instead of hooking into many different filters.)

I solved it for now by working the other way around, so loading the actual post and combining it with the template-post in the single-posttype.php file. But I’m still curious whether there is an answer to the above question.

As much as we hate to say it, your question goes beyond the technical expertise of me and my colleagues on the Yoast support team. This means we can’t give you a solid answer to your question.

But we don’t want to leave you empty-handed either, that’s why we’ve created our developer portal at developer.yoast.com. This has proven to be useful to many developers in the past, and hopefully will serve you well too.

Sorry we can’t be of more help here.

We are going ahead and marking this issue as resolved due to inactivity. If you require any further assistance please create a new issue.
