Get Email Notification for WP version update

    Hello,
    I used to receive wordpress notifications when a major update was going to occur via email. I did not receive any notification about the latest 5.8 update in an email. I’m wondering if there is a way to get notified about major changes via email without having to install a plugin on my wordpress site?
