The request to the authentication proxy has failed with an error: site not found Get help.

There are a couple of old accounts in that analytics login. We have also moved the site to a new server.

We were using Monster Insights which I have deactivated.

When setting up SiteKit plugin; it normally connects and guesses which one you want to connect to. This just says not found error above.

Should I delete all old instances then it will default to setting one up?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Thanks for getting in touch @freakency. The “site not found” error you’re facing typically indicates that when trying to communicate to set up the plugin once more, it’s no longer recognizing your credentials, instead it’s using credentials from a possible previous setup.

So we can determine more on this, and ensure you can get the plugin successfully connected, please share the following:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. Do you recall having changed your wp-admin path, your site URL or your WordPress files directory since initially setting up Site Kit? If so let me know what changes you may have made.

Should I delete all old instances then it will default to setting one up?

Rather than deleting old instances, if you didn’t migrate your site, change your WordPress address or modify your wp-admin path, you can perform a plugin reset via Tools > Available Tools > Reset Site Kit, which may allow you to proceed with setup.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above. Thank you!

Glad to heat it @freakency, thanks for the update. If you run into any further errors or if you have any Site Kit related queries, be sure to get in touch.

If you have a moment free please also consider sharing your thoughts on the plugin.
