Get paid for developing a website with wordpress?

    Hi, I’m new to wordpress. I’m coming from a graphic career, and I’m starting to develop small websites. This business has grown a little in the last weeks, and I have considered the possibility of using the wordpress platform as a base for developing websites.

    Is it fair to get paid for developing a wordpress-based website?
    I’m doing all the graphics, custom templates etc. specifically to my customer’s needs, but as WP is free I’m not sure.

    Sure it is. You’re being paid for the work you put into each site. The fact that WP is open source & free does not impact on your ability to earn money by creating WP sites for other people.
