    Hello @hpraza8.

If it is protecting then why files are being infected?

The files could have been infected before installing our plugin. Or infected in ways that the plugin cannot control. For example, vulnerabilities of other plugins or themes, access to the file system of the site via ftp.

now it is not validating my access key

Please click the “Synchronize with Cloud” button in the plugin settings, wait until the rotating icon disappears and refresh the page.

If the scanner remains frozen, please do this:

    1. WordPress Admin Page → Settings → Security by CleanTalk → General Settings → enable the “Complete Deactivation” option → Save Changes.
    2. WordPress Admin Page → Plugins → Installed plugins → Security by CleanTalk → Deactivate and then Activate.
    3. Insert your Access key in the plugin settings.

Next, make a scan. Files for which you have questions will have to be re-sent for analysis.
