I use a theme that doesn’t work with your plugin. I contact my theme creator and this is what I got from them. I don’t know if you will consider fixing this?

I'm not sure if this can be relied on - what if a theme doesn't have a header, or the user is viewing a page generated by a plugin. He needs to use another action - maybe init.

    Hey, thanks for your message!

Unfortunately the plugin cannot run on init due to different hooks for compatibility with other plugins.

If the template you are using is free and quite popular I’m happy to look into compatibility.

    Thank you,

    Lukas

I am using oxygenapp.com. I was going to point you to the demo oxygenapp.com/try but that is an older version. That version seem to work. But it’s installed as a theme. The new versions are installed as plugin now. And that is not working.

You are right AITpro, it is possible that it is related to:

After reading your comment I when back to deactivating Oxygen and test it again with BPS Maintenance Mode. And it works.

So it’s the theme that’s not compatible with this two plugins.

I’ve tested with this Maintenance plugin and it works:

I don’t know what is the big different between your two plugins and the last but the last work. Thank you for your help.

So something weird happened. After me testing with deactivating and reactivating plugins now BPS Maintenance Mode is working correctly. I have no idea what happened but I’m glad it did.

As for this Maintenance Mode plugin, it’s still not working with Oxygen when reactivated.

Yeah that is kind of odd, but I have a couple of ideas for why things are working now, which I will post in this forum topic: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/maintenance-mode-not-able-to-access-front-end/ to keep all troubleshooting in one place.
