cheers!
btw, not sure if it helps but we added #_LOCATIONLONGITUDE/LATITUDE in the latest update
G’day Marcus, I did look at that first (the release note is what prompted me to look at this). There might be a plugin that this works for, but not mine as mine needs latitude, longitude passed as a string in a shortcode call. The simplest approach for me was the placeholder.
I’d be interested to see if there is a plugin that handles these new parameters though — I reckon there might be, as I know some plugins use data attributes or other HTML markup to define the map centre / marker location, and it might just need a custom location template to trigger them.
cheers,
Ross
I figured something like that must have prompted the new placeholders. The plugin link fails, maybe it’s changed its name. Does it do directions?
Sometime, I’m going to have to do a rewrite of my map plugin so that it is more accessible to AJAX themes, and when I do, it will probably handle your new lat/long placeholders. Until then (which probably won’t be this year!) I have that custom placeholders method at least 🙂
cheers,
Ross
not sure. I haven’t tried the plugin i must admit…
