• The only way to view what’s in the collection is to view them six at a time. On that I have 26 pages of information!
I used a naming convention that lists them by date recorded and the general topic; what I’d like to do is get an export of the complete file list.
Does anyone know of a way? Is it possible to access the collection like an FTP app would?
Even more I mixed up on the topic indicator and I’d like to batch rename a few of them.

    Thank you for your time!

    Hi there, @chowardart!

If I understand correctly, you’d like a way to view your entire VideoPress library at once, export a complete file list, and batch rename some videos. Let me address each of these:

Viewing all your videos: the VideoPress dashboard (Jetpack → VideoPress) shows videos in a paginated grid, which can be slow to browse with a large library.
A faster alternative is to go to Media → Library in your WP Admin and switch to the List View (the list icon near the top). Then click Screen Options in the top-right corner and increase the “Number of items per page”. You can set it as high as 999. This will give you a much more complete, scrollable view of all your videos in one place.

Exporting a file list: unfortunately, there’s no built-in way to export a list of your VideoPress videos at this time 🙁

FTP access: VideoPress videos are hosted on WordPress.com’s cloud servers, so they aren’t accessible via FTP like files on your web server would be.

Batch renaming: this isn’t currently available either, sorry. You can rename videos individually by clicking on a video in either the Media Library or the VideoPress Dashboard and editing the title. I understand that’s tedious with a large library, and I appreciate the feedback.

I hope the List View tip helps with browsing your collection more efficiently! Let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
