  • Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

I tried that now, and got a blank page.

Re-upload a fresh, unpacked, copy of the Twenty Eleven folder to wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

I ftp’d the .zip file, then extracted it. Named my theme “old”.

Still getting blank page – http://www.itoido.com

The actual site was working with the old theme. When I disabled the plugins it was also working (minus plugins).

    Any other suggestions?

You need to re-upload a fresh, unpacked, copy of the Twenty Eleven folder to wp-content/themes.

One other thing…my favicon is no longer appearing. Is that a clue?

Also, before I went blank, the image editor in media only displayed a broken image even though the thumbnail did display, and the image was uploaded and live.

Ok, I deleted all the other themes and files, renamed my theme “old”, downloaded a new Twenty Eleven .zip, uploaded it. I did not unzip it.

Still blank. Am I doing it wrong?

Yes. You have to unzip the downloaded theme before you upload just the folder inside.

Yup. I’m still getting the blank page.

Anything else I can do to troubleshoot this?

    I appreciate your help!

Disregard the thing about the favicon. It’s still here!

Before the page went totally blank I had reloaded the latest version of WP and updated Jetpack.

Ok, solved the mystery. I had some blank spaces at the end of my function file. Go figure.

    Thanks for your help!
