• I am currently running a Facebook ad campaign and it’s doing well. I was just contacted by someone who tried to sign up to my mailing list and got an error. So I went to my landing page and tried to sign up and got an error message too. This is what it says”

    success false
    errors
    ratelimit “172.69.190.64: rate limit exceeded”

Is there a limit of signs ups? I’ve had about 100 in the past week which is a lot for me but I can’t imagine is close to any sort of actual limit.

What can be done about this? I’ve paused my FB ad campaign, which I was reluctant to do because it was going so well, but I’d like to reactivate it ASAP so that I don’t lose momentum.

    Thanks!

    Hi @duhaussie

Our plugin does not add any limits but the newsletter solution you use (MailerLite) does have limitations based on the plan you use. They have different plans and it’s possible you went over the allowed subscriptions for your plan.

Free MailerLite is up to 1000 subscribers, for more subscribers than 1000 they start charging. You can see the the full info on that at https://www.mailerlite.com/pricing.
