Hello, I’m hoping someone can help please.

I’m not a developer but I’m trying to set up a Woocommerce shop on my site using Stripe. I’ve tried using their test card (4242424242424242) and that goes through the checkout fine but when I use the 3D secure test card (4000000000003220) I get the error message: “Your card was declined. This transaction requires two-factor authentication.”

I tried contacting Stripe support but they say I need to contact Woocommerce – however Woocommerce support says it’s only for paid for products, and Stripe is free. I’m stuck!

How can I solve this issue before making my shop live?

    Thank you

    Hi there @kaawo,

    > I’m not a developer but I’m trying to set up a Woocommerce shop on my site using Stripe. From this document I see that this card is used to test 3D Secure 2:

Our Stripe Payment Gateway doesn’t support 3D Secure 2 yet – this is why this test card fails, but we plan to implement it well before the enforcement of SCA on 14 September – https://stripe.com/guides/strong-customer-authentication

    Cheers!
