this is the error I as getting:

    SSL Insecure Content Fixer tests

This page checks to see whether WordPress can detect HTTPS.
    Tests completed.

    Your server environment shows this:

    error

I am running WP on IIS and it is behind an Apache proxy server.
    Internet <- https -> Apache <- http -> WP on IIS (http://localhost:8091)

    I am running php 7.0.6
    json version 1.4.0

What setting are suggested for that kind of setup?

    G’day nc_nc,

I have not tested in that environment, so I cannot say what the settings should be. The error however might be a problem in a .htaccess file, so please try renaming nowp/.htaccess to nowp/.htaccess-off and see if it resolves the problem. If it does, I’ll need to find out why it’s breaking in your environment.

Can you check your Apache logs to see what error is occurring? That could be really helpful.

    cheers,
    Ross

Ross, thank you taking the time to write. I tried to get the Apache to proxy to IIS, but that did not work. Somehow WP logic is not allowing this. I was doing the rewrites with Apache, but could not get it to work. After that I tried to do the rewrites on IIS – also could not get it working. WP can somehow not be setup behind a proxy where SSL is on to the outside, but off to the inside of the network. I gave up and with the idea to host the site with IIS. Now Apache is hosting it, and all is well.

Awesome. IIS can be a real trial, so I don’t envy you!

@fabriziobike please open a new support topic, and detail your server environment (Linux or Windows, PHP version, web server – Apache / nginx)

    cheers,
    Ross
